Buzzy Bee Room - 2-3 years
Our Buzzy Bee Room is designed for children aged 2-3 years, offering a nurturing and engaging environment that supports their growing independence, curiosity and emotional development, where they are surrounded by conversation and new language on a daily basis, allowing the children to develop their own language skills.
Our approach is guided by Realising the Ambition: Being Me, Scotland’s national practice guidance for early years, which emphasises the importance of high quality interaction and play experiences in shaping children’s confidence and well-being.
The Buzzy Bee room offers a wide range of play opportunities to promote and challenge the children’s learning, such as large building block and construction resources, dressing up opportunities, music and rhythm, stories and rhymes, sand and water play.
Staff work in partnership with parents in regards to toilet training when the time is right for each individual child to support their confidence and independence.
